PLEASE TAKE NOTICE OF PLANNING COMMISSION PUBLIC HEARING NOVEMBER 18, 2026 AT 6:30 PM

The purpose of this public hearing is to receive public input and to consider a proposed amendment to the Augusta Charter Township Zoning Ordinance. The proposed amendment would establish a six (6) month temporary moratorium on certain zoning approvals and applications related to High Resource Demand Facilities, including data centers, while the Township reviews and develops zoning regulations addressing these facilities and their potential impacts on infrastructure, utilities, surrounding land uses, and public health, safety, and welfare.
