The mission of the Augusta Township Clerk’s Office is to serve as the Clerk to Augusta Township Board of Trustees; to certify official documents and provide custody of official documents; to administer oaths and take affidavits; and to exercise other powers and duties as provided by law.
The Clerk’s Office is responsible for a host of functions including the administration of all Township Elections, registering and maintaining Township voter information, maintaining statutory records, assisting with Freedom of Information requests and License to Solicit requests. The Clerk’s Office also maintains proposed and approved Ordinances, Resolutions and all Committees and Board meeting minutes. By maintaining and producing documents we enable the public to participate in local township government.

The General Election will be held Tuesday, November 8, 2022. We will be sending out Absent Voter Applications to our permanent AV voters who didn’t return them prior to the August Primary Election. They were for both elections. So if you did return an AV Application for both elections we will be issuing you a ballot when we receive them. (The end of September) Thank you for voting!
