The Washtenaw County Fire Chiefs, along with neighboring fire chiefs, have entered into an Interlocal Agreement that has recently been signed by the Governor. As a result, the Washtenaw Area Mutual Aid Council (WAMAC) is now recognized as a governmental agency.
In accordance with the Interlocal Agreement, WAMAC is required to comply with Michigan’s Open Meetings Act (OMA). To meet these requirements, we respectfully request that the following scheduled meetings be posted for each of the Counties. These General Meetings are held:
The first Tuesday of every month at 9am (NO meetings July & August)
