Project Update #6: Whittaker Rd at Willis Rd Roundabout (Augusta Twp)

Our roundabout project at the intersection of Whittaker Rd and Willis Rd in Augusta Township is making steady progress. 

Since the last update, the contractor has been able to construct concrete curb and gutter and place red concrete in the roundabout islands. While the contractor allows the concrete to cure, preparations for asphalt paving are taking place. The contractor plans to begin paving by July 29, weather permitting. Once paving is complete, pavement markings and signs will be installed. 

As a reminder, the intersection remains closed to the traveling public. Please refrain from entering the project limits as construction for the roundabout continues.
