PLEASE TAKE NOTICE – Lincoln School District Payment of Utility Charges

It has come to our attention that there may be rumors and statements being made on social media and otherwise that Lincoln Consolidated Schools has been delinquent in the payment of water and sewer utility service charges.  Any such statement or implication is categorically false.  The School District has always been diligent and faithful in the payment of utility service charges. What is true is that there was an accounting error by the Township related to the utility service charges to the School District that the Township and District are Working together on a solution. At no time has the School District failed or refused to pay utility services for which they were billed.  We am making this statement on behalf of the Township to clear up any misconceptions or confusion that might have been generated from statements and accusations that are unfounded related to this matter.  Brian Shelby, Supervisor/Susan Burek, Treasurer/Kimberly Gonczy, Clerk
